Submission Guidelines
At Talk PTSB, we encourage everyone to write for us, even beginners! Before we start, please review the following guidelines before submitting your work to ensure a smooth and successful submission process. Good luck!
Types of Content Accepted ✅
We accept the following types:
Full-Length Research Articles: Comprehensive, in-depth research on a specific topic within psychology, sociology, technology, business, or combined fields.
Research Notes: Brief pieces of focused content that highlight specific findings or insights from a research study or academic concept.
Summaries of Academic Topics: Clear, concise summaries of important research or academic developments.
Interviews/Guest Pieces: Opinion-based research articles or interviews offering fresh perspectives or expert insights.
IMPORTANT: We do NOT accept casual blog-style content or advertising. All submissions must be well-researched and credible. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out for clarification.
Citations 📝
In order to maintain high standards of integrity, all claims, studies, and data must be properly cited. We accept:
APA (American Psychological Association)
MLA (Modern Language Association)
Chicago (Chicago Manual of Style)
Choose the style that best fits your research. Be sure to cite only credible or peer-reviewed sources.
Submission Process 📩
👉👉👉 If this is your FIRST TIME submitting your content to us, please follow these steps:
Submit a Talk PTSB Contributor Application.
Check your email for a response within 5-7 business days.
If accepted: Review the follow-up email and make necessary edits (if any).
If declined: Try the application process again (this would be a great time to make any adjustments to the declined work…just no spam)!
👉👉👉 If this is NOT your FIRST TIME submitting your content to us, please follow these steps:
Submit a Contact QKP LLC form.
Note: In the “Describe the Problem” section, please clarify in your message if you’re a returning contributor, editor, or researcher.
Make sure to include a Word Doc or PDF file upload of the content you are submitting.
Note: Make sure to include a brief author bio (1-3 sentences) and up to two relevant blog post links or social media handle you want to include in your “About the Author” section. If you have already accepted our Substack invite to be a contributor to Talk PTSB, then we will tag you automatically.
Please allow 5-7 business days from the acknowledgment email for us to provide editorial feedback (if any).
IMPORTANT: All submitted work much go through a thorough editorial review for quality, clarity, and accuracy. For our complete formatting guide, click the button below.
During this process, you may be asked to make revisions or adjustments to improve the overall quality of your piece. Once your submission is approved, it will be scheduled for publication in the next issue of our newsletter.
Credit & Removal Policy 📜
All contributors will receive full credit, with their name, social handle (if applicable) and author bio included in the newsletter. For content removal, please contact us via email or submit a request here. We will remove your work based on your request within 7-10 business days from the time we’ve received the notice.
